I am a Dental Hygiene student at the moment and I would like to eventually go to Dental school. My only concern is, I find and know that I am not the brightest person and I dont have faith in myself that I would be able to do something as intense as Dental School. I say this because I didnt go to High school, I have a GED. So to this day now that I am in College I am learning how to organize and balance school. I wonder if after I get my Bacherlors if i would be more of a studious student.
How hard is Dental school for the average joe?
A Bachelor's degree does not make you a more studious student, you determine that. A Bachelor's means you had enough dedication to go through a degree-granting institution and gain a 4 year degree (something to be proud of).
If you really want to go to Dental School you have to make the decision to work hard at it. A Bachelor's degree is a minimum requirement but it does not tell you whether or not you will succeed in Dental School. You must succeed in order to have. If you want it bad enough you will succeed for success.
Good Luck!
Reply:Having a bachelors is a good thing regardless of if you go to dental school or not. Why no do that then reassess if you think you should be a dentist?
Thanks
