Dental and medical school?

which one is harder to get accepted to, and does dental school you need to write and entrace exam like the mcat for medical school?

Dental and medical school?
Both are difficult to get into; dentists, after all, are fully-licensed medical professionals who do oral surgery and prescribe medications (mostly antibiotics and painkillers).





And the way to get into either is similar:


--high GPA


--pre-med curriculum, with lots of biology and chemistry


--high MCAT score


--experience working (pay or volunteer) in health care


--recommendations from doctors/dentists


--good performance in their admissions interview
Reply:Medical is a lot harder to get into. I am not sure about the 2nd question, I would not want to give you the wrong answer.
Reply:Unless things have changed radically since my day, you still need higher grades to get into an American medical school than you do for dental school. There is an admissions test--not the MCATs but the dental aptitude test:
