Dental school prices?

how much would root canals cost at a dental school?(in ga) I know that in a private practice they are about 850, how much would i actually save by going to the school instead?

You would need to call that particular dental school as it's not a set price for all schools. My mother went to Georgetown Dental School and got her root canals for $150 each. It's a teaching hospital.





Actually, you would get better care at the school. They are supervised like crazy and will do things perfectly because they are being graded. It's when you get them into private practice that they get lazy and careless.
Reply:Are you sure you would want someone that does not know what they are doing work in your mouth? not everything should be done by discount. It could cost you a lot more if they mess up and then you have to go have there mistake fixed.
Reply:you're looking at $800 in one hour long visit vs $400 for 3 to 5 visits that might take 4 hours each.





dental schools sound like the perfect solution but it's not as easy to get in as you think and it takes forever to get anything done.
