Finishing dental school in another country?

I was born and raised in the U.S. but after high school i decided to study dentistry school in Mexico. I only have 2 years of dentistry school left, and i plan on going back to the U.S. and specializing. What do i need to get into a university in the U.S.? Considering i have my dental diploma

Depends on which state you want to practice in. You would have to check with the board and see what the need to give you credentials from your country. To specialize you do not need the States approvial. To practice here you would need the States approvial which would be a State board exam at minimum if they accept a dental licence from Mexico. You could take this during your specialization residency. Some countrys such as Russia, need to retake dental school if they want to practice here. Best of luck!
