I am applying to dental school this year, and I do not think I will get accepted and was wondering what is the recommened thing to do during the year before I apply again.
What do you do if you do not get into dental school the first time applying.?
this happened to one of my good friends - she got a job working in a dental office, first as a recptionist... as the year progressed, she asked for more responsibilities and she was able to assist the dentists (not quite a dental technician as that requires some degree of training). anyway, when she applied the following year, she not only had a letter of recommendation but also job experience in the field which definitely helped her get accepted. :o)

Reply:Get more job experience and classes that are relevant to the career. Show the school you know this is what you want and you're willing to go the distance for it. Good luck!
