Is it possible to study medicine after graduating from dental school???
Everyone has said pretty much what I'm going to say -- yes, it is possible. However, as for having to retake courses -- I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have to retake anything pre-medical school and probably a lot of the classes do transfer that you did in dental school, but you'll need to find out for sure. The other thing is how long you've been out of dental school -- if it's been 30 years or something you'd probably have to start pretty fresh, but I'm not sure.

My suggestion is to call a medical school or e-mail someone in charge. That's the only way you'll know for sure. Good luck!
Reply:It is possible to study anything
Reply:Is very possible.
Reply:it's possible to do anything!
Reply:I'm sure if you have credits for courses already done , you wouldn't have to do them again.
Reply:UCL (and others now) do a 4 year medical degree for those who already have a health related degree, so you won't need to do the first year again! You should be able to find the details on the web.
Reply:i dont see why not
Reply:yes
Reply:Yesy if you have the money and the will power and good head for remembering facts.
Reply:Yep, there are fast track courses in most medical schools, down from five years (or six including the intercalated) to four. Some might even do it for less, you never know with all the 'modernising' medical education that's going on. What gets me is why dentist need 5 years for the mouth while medics have 5 years to learn the entire body.

Guessing you want to be one of those Maxillofacial surgeons raking in the money...
